Fabric and skills
2565 is an intermediate project involving a stand collar, back fastening, sleeve slits, gathered caps and cuffs. Use an opaque light- to medium-weight woven with enough body for the collar. Test the interfacing on the collar and cuff fabric before cutting the full set.
The reference below transcribes the fabric and body-bust rows from the maker’s worksheet headed 2565. Use its detailed XS–4XL table, with fabric width 140 cm.

These are the worksheet's grouped estimates. Check the selected layout, shrinkage and pattern matching before purchasing. The current product page displays finished-garment measurements; compare those with your own body measurements at the same points.
Choose the back fastening
Lay the back pieces beside the collar. Record the selected route on your working copy:
- Button loops: slit stop ___; two loop marks ___; button size ___; loop length including the part caught in the seam ___.
- Invisible zip: opening length ___; zipper specification ___; upper-stop position relative to the collar seam ___.
Make a loop sample with the chosen button, or baste the specified zip at its marked opening. Complete that opening finish while the edges remain accessible. Baste the collar next and compare the back ends before closing its inner edge.
If the fastening dimensions are absent, send the back and collar pieces through account messages before cutting the opening.
Prepare the collar and bow
Apply the designated interfacing, then mark the collar's outer and neckline edges. Sew and turn the edges shown in the pattern, leaving the neckline join accessible.
Make the bow right sides together with its turning opening left free. Turn, press and close the opening. Set the bow aside until the blouse can be checked on the wearer, keeping the neckline marks visible during assembly.
Identify the extra sleeve-cap pieces
The M cutting file labels an additional piece 袖顶 ×2 and marks it for gathering at the sleeve top. The worksheet says to gather that extra piece and fix it at the gathered sleeve cap before setting the sleeve. It does not name its inside/outside position or the treatment of its free edge. Confirm those two details and the attachment layers before cutting it. The available notes do not fully distinguish an exposed layer from an internal support, so request that placement detail if your file does not show it. Keep this component off the sleeve until the map is complete.
Once confirmed, finish the sleeve slit and gather the sleeve cap and extra piece separately between their marks. Baste the extra piece in the confirmed position, then set the sleeve with front, back and shoulder marks matched. Inspect for sharp tucks before finishing the seam.
Keep the neckline gathers separate
Gather the marked front-neck sections to their stated lengths. Baste the collar and compare back ends, shoulder marks and centre-front gathers. Enclose the neckline allowance with the inner collar layer, then inspect both faces before topstitching.
Prepare each cuff's opening and fastening from its pieces. Compare both cuffs before closing them. The notes put the bow on the left but do not identify its anchoring layer. Baste the placement and check it on the wearer; obtain the attachment detail before sewing it permanently. Check neck movement, reaching and bent elbows before finishing the hem.
Frequently asked questions
Why do the collar ends finish at different heights?
Compare the opening allowances and collar seam lines first, then the gathered neckline sections. Baste the correction before trimming either end.
What should I check if the bow droops?
Check its weight, interfacing and attachment position with the blouse on. Confirm which layer should take the anchoring stitches; keep the placement basted until that detail is known.
