Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Wool coating or similar wool fabric with some drape.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm width, main fabric: XS–M: 2.9 m; L–2XL: 3.2 m; 3XL–4XL: 3.5 m. lining: not split by size in the workbook: 2 m. The size-banded amounts cover only the visible XS–4XL source table; the separate overall pattern-size range has no corresponding usage amounts here.
- Notions
- 9 buttons; optional center-front zipper; tabs at the waist and sleeves; the lining may be padded or filled.
- Size advice
- Choose by body measurements: 38 cm bust ease. The pattern uses standard sizing; adjust lengths for height and body proportions as needed.
- Key challenge
- Construct the large hood, waist and sleeve tabs, and front welt pockets; the center-front zipper-and-placket combination is optional, and the lining may be padded or filled.
