Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Medium- to heavyweight stretch knit, spacer knit, or loopback sweatshirt knit; use rib knit for the cuffs and hem.
- Notions
- 1 zipper (size No. 3 is recommended in the workbook), rib knit for the cuffs and hem, and an optional hood drawcord.
- Size advice
- Choose by body bust measured over underwear; design ease is already included, and you may size up or down one size for the preferred effect.
- Key challenge
- Make the drawcord eyelet before assembling the four-piece double-layer hood; ease in a slightly shorter center-front zipper, then assemble and topstitch the facings, back-neck facing, and hood lining in sequence.
