Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Slight-stretch woven or knit fabric, no heavier than medium-heavy, with some drape.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm width, main fabric: XS–M: 1.8 m; L–2XL: 2 m; 3XL–4XL: 2.1 m. lining: not split by size in the workbook: 1.3 m.
- Notions
- Center-back zipper; woven tape may be used for the collar trim.
- Size advice
- Choose by body measurements: 3 cm bust ease; 1 cm waist ease; 4 cm hip ease. The pattern uses standard sizing; adjust lengths for height and body proportions as needed. Size up one size when using thicker fabric.
- Key challenge
- Check bust, waist, and hip measurements first; whether the center-back zipper reaches the top changes the back-neck seam treatment, and the collar trims have different widths.
