Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Medium- to heavyweight trench-coat fabric; checked or striped fabric may be used for the reverse side.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm woven width, main fabric: XS–M: 2.5 m; L–2XL: 2.7 m; 3XL–4XL: 2.9 m. lining: largest size (the exact size is not identified in the workbook): 2.9 m.
- Notions
- 12 buttons and fusible interfacing for the collar, belt, and pocket welts.
- Size advice
- Choose the size whose listed body height and bust/waist/hip measurements match your body measurements; that is the pattern's intended fit.
- Key challenge
- The reversible coat requires careful handling of the back storm flap, collar, side tabs, and full bagged lining; cut on the marked line for the short version and construct the belt separately.
