Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Light- to medium-weight fabric; avoid heavy fabric.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm woven width, main fabric: XS–M: 1.5 m; L–2XL: 1.6 m; 3XL–4XL: 1.8 m. lining: not split by size in the workbook: 1.8 m.
- Notions
- 1 button and fusible interfacing for the collar, facings, back-neck facing, pocket flaps, and pocket welts; the full outer layer may also be fused.
- Size advice
- Choose by body bust measured over underwear; design ease is already included, and you may size up or down one size for the preferred effect.
- Key challenge
- The main challenges are the welt pockets and bagging the full lining; the pattern is a fitted blazer without a back vent or sleeve vents.
