Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Lightweight cotton or gauze with some drape and good wrinkle resistance; add lining if the fabric is sheer.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm width, main fabric: XS–M: 3.5 m; L–2XL: 3.5 m; 3XL–4XL: 4 m. The size-banded amounts cover only the visible XS–4XL source table; the separate overall pattern-size range has no corresponding usage amounts here.
- Notions
- The original cuff uses 3 cm-wide elastic. The source also mentions 0.6 cm elastic but gives no revised cuff fold or sleeve-length adjustment; confirm a separate alteration before using that narrower width.
- Size advice
- Choose by body measurements: 16 cm bust ease. The pattern uses standard sizing; adjust lengths for height and body proportions as needed.
- Key challenge
- Gather to the marked dimensions and join the upper and lower skirt sections; turn and topstitch the two-layer neckline; encase elastic at the cuffs.
