Before you sew
- Recommended fabric
- Wool coating or trench-coat fabric; pre-quilted fabric may be used for the lining.
- Fabric required
- At 140 cm width, main fabric: XS–M: 2.6 m; L–2XL: 2.9 m; 3XL–4XL: 3.2 m. lining: not split by size in the workbook: 2 m. The size-banded amounts cover only the visible XS–4XL source table; the separate overall pattern-size range has no corresponding usage amounts here.
- Notions
- 7 buttons and fusible interfacing for the facings, pocket welts, collar, tabs, back-neck facing, and belt.
- Size advice
- Choose by body measurements: 20 cm bust ease. The pattern uses standard sizing; adjust lengths for height and body proportions as needed.
- Key challenge
- Construct the front pockets and center-back vent and install the coat lining; pre-quilted fabric may replace the body lining.
