Four projects, four ways to celebrate
Make a witch hat and cape together, pair a pumpkin beret with the cape, or sew a little bat bib as its own project. Each pattern is sold separately for $2.99. The tutorials are free to read, and each pattern download provides separate English and Chinese printable files.
Choose a project
- Bat baby bib: two woven-fabric layers, a turning opening and a snap; one A4 sheet.
- Witch hat: felt crown and double-layer brim; five sizes, 80/90/100/110/120, six sheets per size.
- Witch cape: single-layer felt body with standing collar and closure tabs; free size 90–110, seven A4 sheets.
- Pumpkin beret: six crown panels and felt stem and face; five sizes, 80/90/100/110/120, one sheet per size.
Print once, check the scale
Choose one language and one complete size set. Print A4 at actual size / 100%, without page fitting. Check the 5 × 5 cm (1.97 × 1.97 in) calibration square before printing the remaining pages. Keep the original page order and piece lines. The tutorials show the correct assembly for each project; the larger witch-hat brims extend onto an extra sheet area.
Choose a hat size by comparing the printed crown opening with the fit you need. For the cape, check the neckline and the 35.5 cm (13.98 in) finished length.
Gather the common supplies
Prepare matching thread, scissors, pins or clips, a fabric marker and an iron suitable for your fabric. Use felt for the hats and cape, woven fabric for the bib, compatible adhesive for felt decorations and a matching snap with its fitting tool where required.
Check the full project material list before buying fabric. The original hat and cape material text says 60 × 60 cm (23.62 × 23.62 in) sheets while their diagrams label 70 × 60 cm (27.56 × 23.62 in); the pumpkin main-fabric estimate has the same difference. Each individual guide explains this and asks you to lay out your selected-size pieces first.
Follow the pictures as you sew
Each picture has a full English explanation beside it. Follow the numbered headings in order, and click a picture whenever you want a closer look. Download your chosen PDF size for the full-size cutting pieces.
Continue with the full project guide
Return to the four project cards above, open the guide for your chosen item and begin with its materials and piece checklist. A single hat, cape or bib is a complete project; making all four is optional.
